– He was born in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea.
– He made his idol debut with HISTORY on April 26, 2013, with “Dreamer” feat. IU under FAVE Entertainment (formerly LOEN Entertainment), using the name Yijeong.
– In 2019 he joined BigHit (now HYBE) as a songwriter and producer.
– He was formerly a producer at Devine Channel (2017–2018) under the name J.Pearl.
– He changed his producer name from J.Pearl to EL CAPITXN sometime in 2019.
